paul smith-pickard : supervision
I offer existentially informed individual and group supervision for practising therapists and students coming from a variety of therapeutic orientations. I see supervision primarily as a place where supervisees can explore and better understand their experience of being with their clients. It is also an opportunity to examine the context in which they work and the ethical implications. As such it is a relational model of supervision that is descriptively phenomenological and experiential. I have a broad knowledge of other theoretical perspectives and experience of a wide range of settings including working with street addicts in London’s West End, to open Hospital wards, Primary Care, Drug and Alcohol agencies, Prison workers, Television, and Private practice.
I also provide in-house supervision and group facilitation for agencies and companies.
